Day 01: CAIRO
Arrival, reception, and assistance at the airport with visa regulations, transfer to the hotel, and check-in at the hotel after 2:00 p.m. Overnight stay.
Day 02: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel, departure from the hotel to begin the full-day tour to visit the three Giza Pyramids of Cheops, khephren, and Micah, built more than 4,500 years ago, called the Great Pyramids of Egypt, which still remain a mystery today due to its alignment and construction. Alongside these magnificent monuments, other temples and pyramids coexist, including the famous Sphinx of King Khafre, with the body of a Lion, and visit the Valley Temple. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the Museum of Antiquities (duration 02 HRS) founded in 1857 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, which displays artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a 5,000-year-old collection of rare art that is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. and we will also be able to admire Tutankhamun's fabulous treasure discovered by Howard Carter in 1822 and more monuments from ancient Egypt. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 03: CAIRO
Breakfast and free day. Optional tours.
(OPTIONAL TOUR) The Sound and Light show at the Pyramids
(OPTIONAL TOUR) Dinner with oriental belly dancing show in a floating restaurant with round-trip transfer from the hotel.
Day 04: CAIRO/ASWAN – Flight included) – Full Board Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Aswan. Arrive at Aswan airport, transfer to the Nile cruise, and check in at 12:00 pm (Lunch is included on the Nile cruise). Start the guided tour riding a felucca (typical Egyptian sailing boat) to admire the panoramic view of the Mausoleum of Agha Khan, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden as a transfer to visit the Temple of Philae, built in the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to the Goddess Isis, the complex was dismantled and transferred to Agilkia Island, which through UNESCO intervention was saved from the waters of the Aswan dam. It was one of the last places of pharaonic worship in operation until the 6th century AD, and where the last known hieroglyphic inscription is recorded, dated 395 AD. At the end of the visit, return to the Nile cruise. Dinner and overnight. (OPTIONAL TOUR) Visit to the Nubian Village in Aswan
Day 05: ASWAN/KOM OMBO/EDFU – Full Board
Breakfast, possibility for anyone interested to make the Optional visit to Abu Simbel.
(OPTIONAL TOUR) Visit the temple of Abu Simbel, the temple of RAMSES II, the largest fort in Egyptian history, and visit the temple of his favorite wife NEFERTARY, 280 km from Aswan by bus.
Have lunch on board. After lunch, sail to Komombo, upon arrival visit the Temple (Temple of Komombo) built in sandstone during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods and dedicated to two conquests: Sobek, with the head of a crocodile, and Haroéris with the head of a falcon. Visit the Crocodile Museum, dedicated to the history of the cult and mummification of that animal in Ancient Egypt. Navigate to Edfu. Dinner on board and overnight.
Day 06: EDFU/ESNA/LUXOR – Full Board
Breakfast and visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the God Horus – God Falcon, built during the Ptolemaic period, is considered one of the most prestigious pharaonic temples and is in the best state of conservation. Return to the Nile cruise and sail to Luxor through the Esna lock. Lunch on board, afternoon tea served on the Sun deck. Arrival in Luxor and visit the east bank of Luxor, where we will see the destroyed complex of Karnak, dedicated to Amon Ra. Known since pharaonic antiquity as Ipet-isut, this was the most important cult center dedicated to the triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu. The temple of Amun and the sacred precinct of Karnak are connected by an avenue of sphinxes with the body of a Lion and the head of Amun. Continue to visit the Luxor temple. At night, watch the oriental spectacle (Festa Galabeya) on the Nile cruise. Dinner on board and overnight.
Day 07: LUXOR/CAIRO – Flight included
(OPTIONAL TOUR) Balloon ride over Luxor
Breakfast and check out of the Nile Cruise. Visit the western bank, which is the City or Kingdom of the Dead where there are the royal funerary temples, the necropolises of the officials, and in the mountains, the tombs of the Kings (Valley of the Kings). Visit the necropolis with the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues of the enthroned Amenhotep III, which decorated the entrance to this funerary temple. The colossi are the only remains that have survived. They are imposing and still maintain their character as guardians of the Valley of the Kings. Transfer to the Airport for Return to Cairo, Check-in at the hotel, overnight.
DAY 08: CAIRO/SANTA CATARINA – Half Board
Breakfast, Check out. Transfer by air-conditioned minivan to Santa Catarina—check-in, Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 09: SANTA CATERINA/TABA/EILAT/JERUSALEM
Breakfast and departure to visit the famous monastery. We then crossed the border between Egypt and Israel (TABA), heading to Eilat / Tel Aviv (Flight included). Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to Jerusalem.
DAY 10: JERUSALEM
Breakfast. Visit the new city of Jerusalem: The Knesset, the President's residence, the Municipal Theater and visit the Israel Museum. Head to Ein Karem to see the birthplace of San Juan Bautista. Continue to visit the Holocaust Museum. Transfer to the old city. Visit the 14 stations of the Via Dolorosa, Church of the Flagellation, Condemnation Chapel, Calvary and the Holy Sepulcher. Also visit the Western Wall, Stay overnight.
DAY 11: JERUSALEM
Breakfast. Visit the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane to see the Basilica of the Agony. Head to Mount Zion to visit King David's Tomb, the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Go to the Jewish Quarter and the Roman Cardo at the Citadel Museum. Afternoon in Belém to visit the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of São Jerônimo and the Church of Santa Catarina.
DAY 12: JERUSALEM
Breakfast and free day. Optional tour to Masada and Dead Sea. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 13: JERUSALEM/GALILEA
Breakfast and departure through the Judean Desert to the surrounding Jericho. Arrival at JordanValley Nazareth to visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, San Jose carpentry and fountain of the Virgin. Visit to Yardenit, a site on the Jordan River, the traditional baptism site of Jesus. Via Tiberias to Capernaum, to visit the ancient synagogue and the house of Saint Peter. Continuing to Tabgha, then continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, known as the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to the Kibbutz. Overnight at the Galilea hotel.
DAY 14: GALILEE/TEL AVIV
Breakfast and visit to Safed, city of Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism. Visit the Josef synagogue, passing through St. Jean d'Acre to see the medieval fortifications. We continue to Haifa, to visit the Bahai Sanctuary and Persian Garden. Visit the Carmelite monastery. Then proceed to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater, the Crusader City and the aqueduct. Arrival in Tel Aviv.
DAY 15: TEL AVIV
Breakfast and departure to Jope to visit the Artists Quarter and San Pedro Monastery. Continuing with a visit to the city's main tourist attractions: Dizengoff Street, the Palace of Culture, the Tel Aviv Museum, Yitzhak Rabin Square, the Carmel Market and a visit to the famous Diaspora Museum. Free afternoon.
DAY 16: TEL AVIV/FINAL DEPARTURE
Breakfast, check out at the hotel and transfer to the airport for final departure.
